At this year's 4th Annual Walk to Wellness we raised a total of $7,337 and had an estimated 160 participants. We could not have done this without the generous support of our walkers and sponsors. We sincerely thank you for all you have done. We are very happy to announce that we will be celebrating our 5th year anniversary of the B.A.C. Walk to Wellness next fall with a twist! Dr. Rene Rubin, Director of Multidisciplinary Tumors at Hahnemann/Drexel Medical School will be at Wellshire Farms after the walk for an informational session about women's health. A BBQ lunch will be provided.

The Greater Philadelphia Cancer Foundation-In Honor of Barbara A. Colameco was founded by Dr. Rene Rubin and Wellshire to help those who are unable to make their oncology appointments due to the expenses of transportation. Barbara, co-founder of Wellshire with husband, Lou, saw these people in need and created the fund to help them. All of the money raised goes towards this foundation. Barbara was blessed to see her mission come to fruition during the inaugural Walk to Wellness in 2009. In March 2010, Barbara lost her three year fight to breast cancer, and in memory of her, Wellshire continued the B.A.C. Walk to Wellness.
